  1. I’m wondering what it is about the specific exercises that helps high blood
    pressure. Also, Esther, I detect a Dutch accent, were these yoga exercises
    developed in the Netherlands?

  2. not sure if this works for everyone. i love yoga, and was doing yoga dvd’s.
    i got diagnosed with high blood pressure, and started doing this routine
    figuring it would help. well it helped!! helped me have a stroke!! of
    course i can’t blame it on these exercises, but be careful if you have high
    blood pressure. experiment with postures, especially any that give you a
    head rush.

  3. @crimn Good post. I must say I was quite supprised to see a number of
    inverse pose in this video. Any pose where the head is lower than the
    legs/hips is probably best not attempted whilst you have hgh blood
    pressure. The resting pose where you lie on your back with your limbs
    spread lke a star, and a good standing pose coupled with concentration of
    deep breathing would seem to me to be a lot safer and a lot better. Look
    for videos that explain stillness and breathing.

  4. Any forward bending yoga posture (2nd and 3rd) must not attempt by any high
    blood pressure patient . As far I know the Snake Posture is the best yoga
    posture for high BP. It helps to control the activity of adrenal gland
    which interns controls BP

  6. Esther, could you please make a sequence for people with low blood
    pressure? I see a lot of routines for high blood pressure, but my problem
    is low blood pressure and sometimes this can be really bad. I need ways to
    consistantly keep my BP up (above 100 systolic, atleast)

  7. A person who has high blood pressure, should not do inverted poses, as you
    have shown in this video. A doctor’s clearance needs to be gotten.
    Ridiculous of you as a yoga instructor to even suggest this. People with
    high blood pressure, if your head is below your heart in any yoga pose, be
    cautious, better yet, to be on the safe side just modify the pose to were
    your head does not go below your heart. Inverted yoga poses for people with
    high blood pressure, can lead to stroke!

  8. Hi donniesbutterfly. Thank you for your comments. We had already stated in
    the video description that you should always consult with your doctor
    before doing this sequence. In response to your comments we have amended
    the description to state that people who suffer from chronic HBP should
    seek advice from a medical professional. It is also a good idea to find a
    local yoga therapist, who can give a personalised sequence for the
    individual!

  9. Hello! Thanks for the video! I am just wondering if a middle ear infection
    is related to high blood pressure because I do tend to feel a bit rush with
    this.

  10. Cautious! i have read and have experienced issues with doing any yoga
    poses that requires one to get to pose that has head below the heart area.
    So i’d be careful doing Downward Dog!

  11. I’ve seen people saying inverted poses are bad for high blood presure. If
    you see well, Esther is doing Adho Mukha Svanasana supporting her head. The
    same for headaches. That is permitted with HBP.

  12. Is Hybetez Remedy useful to cures your hypertension naturally? I’ve learn a
    lot of good stuff about this Hybetez Remedy (look on google search engine).
