High Blood Pressure – Cure for Hypertension – Natural Home Remedies

Stressful lifestyles have made high blood pressure, or hypertension, a common phenomenon today. Not only is high blood pressure caused by the stress we have in our lives, but also because of the shortcuts we use in our cooking. Because of time constraints, people now opt to just open cans and heat the food, consuming more and more processed foods, leading to high salt intake.

How would you know if you have high blood pressure? Well, the most obvious symptoms to look out for would be headaches and blurry vision, but shortness of breath and chest pain can also indicate high blood pressure.

Home Remedies – Cure 1

Amla, or gooseberry, can be effectively used to treat hypertension.

Take about 2-3 amlas.
Chop and crush them.
Squeeze out 2 tsp of juice.
Add 2 tsp of honey.
Have this every morning.

Home Remedies – Cure 2

Include about 2-3 tsp of flaxseeds every day. These can also be crushed coarsely and sprinkled over food.

Garlic, especially in the raw form, is again very effective for blood pressure control. Have 2-3 cloves of garlic every day.

Home Remedies – Cure 3

Take about 2 tlbsp of watermelon seeds.
Dry roast these in a pan.
When cool, grind the seeds.
Take 2 cups of water, and add the ground seeds.
Boil for 10-15 minutes.
Cool and strain.
Have this liquid twice a day.

Take a piece of fresh ginger root and grate it.
Extract 1 tsp of juice.
Mix in 1 tsp of honey and 1 tsp of cumin powder.
Stir well, and have twice a day.

If not addressed at the earliest, hypertension can lead to heart and kidney ailments. Follow these simple remedies, cut out alcohol and excessive caffeine, and enjoy a healthier life.

Natural home remedy using garlic:

1. Chew 2-3 raw garlic cloves everyday
2. Garlic slows down the pulse rate and smoothens the heart's rhythm

Natural home remedy using watermelon seeds and cuscus powder:

1. Take 1 tsp of dried watermelon seeds
2. Add 1 tsp of cuscus powder
3. Crush the mixture
4. Have this once in the morning and the evening
5. Consume for 3-4 weeks

Natural home remedy using Indian gooseberries:

1. Crush 4-5 Indian gooseberries
2. Place the paste on a sieve
3. Press the paste to extract the juice
4. Take 2 tsp of this juice

What is High Blood Pressure?
When pressure of blood in arteries is increased above safe value, it is known as High Blood Pressure. When arteries become narrow, then heart has to pump the blood with more pressure and it increases pressure on the walls of artery beyond safe value. Highest safe value of blood pressure is 140/90 mm Hg. Blood Pressure above this value is High Blood Pressure.

Causes of High Blood Pressure are physical inactivity, obesity, intake of tobacco and alcohol, excessive sodium/potassium intake, stress, anxiety etc.

Symptoms of High Blood Pressure are headache, dizziness, nervousness, restlessness, feeling hot etc.

High Blood Pressure Ayurveda Herbs Natural Remedies are :

Ayurveda Natural Remedy 1 :
(a) Take 1 tsp of cumin seeds powder
(b) Add 1 tsp of ginger juice
(c) Add 1 tsp of Honey.
(d) Mix it well and take twice daily.

Ayurveda Natural Remedy 2 :
(a) Eat few fresh Basil leaves (Tulsi) on an empty stomach daily.
